Facebook yesterday, Wallop today. I'm getting my social network second wind. If anyone wants a Wallop invite, let me know (I'll need your email address if I don't have it already).

do I want a wallop invite? you tell me.

i think so. i'm not endorsing it as a great new site quite yet, but it's definitely curious and different. flashalicious.

I wouldn't turn one down. : )

Josh sent me one first, so you still have one free to give out. : )

I do enjoy having as many neglected social networking sites as humanly possible. send an invite to wallop (or the name of your choice) @ sciencevsromance.net.

still coming to terms with facebook having people who aren't college students.

i'm scared of ms...but do it.

Wallop totally baffles me. I have no idea how to do anything on it, and clicking anything takes me to something other than what I expect it to do. It says I have a message from someone but when I click it, it says I have no messages. I can't search for people to befriend. There is no explanation of the whole radar thing. It isn't clear at all what things are clickable and what aren't. It plays random music at me without me asking it to.

They were gonna have me make some mods for it but I've been too busy with other stuff.

That's been my experience playing around with it too. I want to like it. I really do because it is pretty, but I feel like all the features must be turned off or not yet in the live build or something.

It feels like they might be developing the whole thing using agile practices and this is just the first release. Now they need to add real stuff.

I'm not so sure about that. I used it before it went into hibernation like three years ago, and it doesn't look that much different now. Though I could just be remembering it wrong.

Hey I definately want a wallop invite. ian at mckellar dot org.

I'm a professionally obliged to network, socially, on the internet.

I would like a wallop invite. If it's good enough for Buster McLeod, it's good enough for me.
