Bohemia is in my zeitgeist
bird poops on plum branch
1) At my grandmother's funeral I learned that all 8 of her grandparents were from Bohemia, even though all of them came separately.

2) Talked to a stranger at the Hideout who said she was a bohemian. I tried to relate the story about my grandmother being FROM Bohemia, but she meant it in the answers.com sense.

3) Researching Andy Warhol last night I found out that his roots are in Czechoslovakia and Bohemia.

4) Josh brought in a book to work this morning and pointed out a passage that he thought I would like, "In 1850, Gerard de Nerval ceased conforming to existing ideas of suitable pets and bought himself a live lobster, which he led around the Jardin du Luxembourg at the end of a blue ribbon. 'Why should a lobster be any more ridiculous than a dog,' he wondered, 'or any other animal that one chooses to take for a walk? I have a liking for lobsters. They are peaceful, serious creatures. They know the secrets of the sea, they don't bark, and they don't gnaw upon one's monadic privacy the way dogs do. Goethe had an aversion to dogs, and he wasn't mad.'"

Four unconnected occurrences in a short period of time (well, a couple months I guess), and it gets bonus points for having a connecting point to another item in my zeitgeist: namely foxes as pets.
