All my brain is capable of these days are a series of disjointed notes.

I think all responsible thinkers should pay attention to arguments that they don't agree with.  In the context of this election, we should all be paying lots of attention to any evidence that Obama or his campaign is being misleading.  We can't just surround ourselves with evidence that matches our opinions.  I've been reading factcheck.org and politifact.com, and have found that knowing the truth stretches and lies on both sides is very helpful in keeping a check on my incredulity that anyone could ever support McCain.

Tomorrow is my last day in the office for a month.

While we're in Italy, it would be nice to have some kind of structure to the photo taking and note making.  There should be vacation photo challenges that help tie photos together.  Anyone have any ideas?

Next time Kellianne and I have a fight, I'm totally going to put it on sidetaker.com.  It's so broke down and hilarious.

With ellenlouise's amazing help and prodding, Kellianne and I made a valiant attempt to get into the NYT wedding announcement section, which required a photo, which is why we requested nerdhaus's expert help, which is how these pictures came into being.  The prerequisite for the pictures submitted to them... our eyebrows are supposed to be level with each others.  Knowing this makes looking at this page pretty funny.

Of interest this week: Holmes and Rahe stress scale, Oblique Strategies, Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Hanson Scale of Life Experiences, Anhedonia, and Spiral Dynamics.

Mood: overwhelmed yet relaxed.

Hi.

what if you don't have eyebrows???

Then you're screwed.

Though I did find one picture on the site that didn't follow the rules. Maybe Dan's not out of luck after all.

That is a great idea for an iphone app.

I challenge you to document what's around you every time you hear someone singing.

Okay, I can do that!

this is a really really good idea!

when do you find out if you get into the NYT Vows section?

They were supposed to contact us "a couple weeks before the event" so I'm guessing we didn't make the cut. But I still like going through the motions!

Maybe Evernote for note making/photo taking?

I think I'm going to go with Twitteriffic and Flickr... can you share your notes on Evernote?

Hm, I don't know. It seems like you could capture info there and then repulbish it elsewhere, but I'm not sure how that would work. I don't know the product very well.

Just found that Quantified Self blog today, but have been following the general trend for a while now. Looks like I'm not the only one! What a relief. The mother of all measurement sites is about to launch too... http://beta.me-trics.com

Can't wait!

Even if it doesn't work at the NYT we all win because those photos are AMAZING.
