Flickr photo stats!

I noticed a little "Photo stats" link on my Flickr photo page just now and see that they're going to be giving us lots of crazy stats for our photos.  You have to go enable it, and it takes a day to get it to backfill your info.  Has anyone gotten in yet?  Go enable!  I love stats.

i can't find the link. where is it? i love stats too.

I think it's just for pro members at the moment... do you have a pro account?

wait let's see... yep, pro! is it on my home page or what?

when you click on an actual photo it should be down near the right bottom where you can do things like put the photo on a map and change tags, etc.

No, it's on your photo page. This link should work too:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/me/stats

They said it would take a day to update, but mine's already working after an hour. Pretty cool. Now if only I had popular photos...

I am excited

enabled

it went pretty quickly for me, too.

I'm mad at flickr because my pro account expired and instead of telling me, they deleted my sets. Jerks.

Are you serious? No way. I still see that you have sets... but did you have more than those?

i had lots more. i wonder if it'll redo them if i renew.

they will come back! just renewed recently after a long hiatus and everything is how I left it.

My suspicion is they'll come back if you renew. But I don't know for sure.

oh, hooray! thanks for mentioning this.

Also: click the link to my stats and check out how many geotagged vs non-geotagged photos I have.

Booya!

Unfortunately, we can't see each others' stats pages. You're gonna have to screenshot or describe in Henry James-esque detail.

Oh. Guess you can only view your own. I guess that makes sense.

isn't geotagging all of your photos a crazy amount of effort or is there an easy way that I don't know about?

It can be a pain, but I've been keeping up with it. I put all my photos in sets anyway, so I just use the Organizr and drag them onto the map as a matter of course when creating sets.
