Should Do This soft launches
bird poops on plum branch
The site that we've been working on for the last couple months, and which we've been thinking about and talking about almost since we started the company, has finally soft launched!  The site is called Should Do This and it's all about giving suggestions for what you think other people, companies, cities, organizations, etc, should do.

43 Things (our other main site) is all about what you want to do with your life.  It's very personal.  Should Do This is more about unsolicited advice that you have for others.  You type something into a box like this.

Around every suggestion, a community can spring up.  There's a detail page for the suggestion that the City of Seattle should build more bike lanes.  Anyone can come in and say, yes, Seattle should do this, or no, Seattle should not do this.  Either way, you can say how likely you think this is to happen, and predict when it will happen.  You can tag it, write entries about it, etc.  All of this then bubbles up to the main City of Seattle page where you can see the most popular suggestions for the city, learn more about the city in general, and add a javascript include of the Seattle Suggestion Box page to your website.

It has been a fun project and I hope it takes off.  We're going to do a bigger PR push for it later this week, but if you've got some free time to help us fill it in before people start writing about it, now's your chance.

Give me feedback in the comments, or add something to the meta Should Do This Should Do This page.

If you're still confused, here's our official Robot Co-op blog post where we try to explain it a little.

I like "hot dudes should make out with Joe Randazzo."

The "first time visitors" link on this page links to something that requires a password -- looks like an internal co-op server.
