Bringing slapping back

I retired slapping people a few months ago, but apparently it's taking off a little bit in this sleepy town:

http://www.thestranger.com/blog/2006/10/slapping_is_the_new.php

Christopher slightly misquotes me, because I didn't really get beaten up, but they did threaten to "take me outside" and used puffy chests and poking fingers and all that. I remember responding to their taunts with "It's a good day to die." And it was. And it still is. If it's not a good day to die, it's not a good day to live. Or something. I'll get back to you on that.

Ha! I learned to slap by watching you! And then I started slapping other people, and they also began slapping socially. So thank you for that.

As long as you're a social slapper I don't think it's a problem. I love slapping. It is the perfect gesture, and everyone should have the opportunity to slap and be slapped. Spencer, what are you doing this weekend?

I'm leaving for Walla Walla tonight. I'm going to miss all the fun. But now that my play's over and evrEything, I hope to make it to an office hours again soon.

What are YOU doing this weekend?

What's proper name etiquette when referring to the person who existed before we changed our names? I think by my own laws of the universe, the first reference to me should be Buster, and the second should be Erik, since he's referring to me in the past.

yeah, you're right. you should correct him. buster is the one he runs into regularly at the hideout.

it's naptime here at buster headquarters. will you and maggles wake me up when it's meeting time?

p.s. my sister jen is making me her beneficiary... so i had to tell her about my new name. she's happy about it! she thinks it's funny.

I'm pleased to have participated as a slapee before you discontinued the practice :-).
