What's better, a late night or an early morning?  What's worse: to be invisible, or to be misunderstood?  What's worse: to have lots of company as a failure, or to be alone as a success?  What's better: to succeed at something you didn't want to do, or to fail at something you did want to do?  What's better: to be loved for someone you're not, or to be hated for someone you are?  What's better: sushi or melting mint and chip ice cream?  What's nicer: silver sheets or drunk dials?  What's more idealistic: power or fame?  What's more turquoise: blue or green?  What's better: life as art, or life as luxury?  What's better: security or striving?  What's more comfortable: soft sheets or the smell of soft hair?  Of course, none of this is real, comparisons are futile.  There is no bottom, no relativity, just a lot of things side by side.  They're all beautiful, they're all ugly, they're all meaningless, they're all symbolic.  Feeling weird today.  Groundlessness.  Meaninglessnessosis and Meaningfulnessosis.  Everything is perfect and fragile and such.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

True or false and good or bad and why?

1. better: late night
2. worse: to be misunderstood
3. worse: to be alone as a success
4. better: clearly, to succeed at something you didn't want to do
5. better: sushi
6. nicer: whatever silver sheets are, because drunk dials aren't sincere the next day
7. more idealistic: power, because it never exists
8. more turquoise: green
9. better: life as luxury (art is miserable)
10. better: striving, because there's always more
11. more comfortable: soft sheets, flannel especially

you can go with this, or you can go with that

Great fight or an early warning: late night.
Invincible or understood: invisible, because you can cure it w/ action and accoutrements, while being misunderstood is more difficult to escape.
Failed company or give a loan to success: matter of personal preference... "oh it's lonely at the top"
Better to succeed at something you didn't want to do, happy accidents will happen.
Always better to be loved than hated.
Sushi again is universally better than anything, even in its early stages as plants and swimming fish.
Silver sheets and drunk showers with Dial(tm)
Power is lasting, fame is fleeting and defined by others to a greater extent.
If you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does.
Life as art, striving, soft smell (by a hair), true good and I'll tell you when you're older.

Further Questions:
Better to give or receive? Born too late or born too soon? Better lasting to make a double entendre or commit a single faux pas? LARPs or DUIs? Potato salad or potato famine? Heavy metal sausage fest or granola lesbian clambake?

Passive aggression or misdirected affection? Stereo silence or mono symphonies? Six of one or half a dozen of The Other? Mock hatred or unwanted, unescapable love? Booth or window seat? Collaboration, cooperation or co-opting?

Channeling or channel-surfing? Palindromes or backronyms? Retroactive continuity or deactivated disorders? Star-bellied or unadorned?

Re: you can go with this, or you can go with that

Nice. Dichotomy or symbol?

Now is the autumn of art's discontent
Made glorious spring-time by this pair of dorks
And all McLeods devoured by their new house
In the deep bosom of devotion carried.

Now are their brows bound with ridiculous wigs
Our notables hung up for monuments
